Target demographic for Smosh is 12-21 year olds guys and girls. Alloy also owns ClevverTV, an entertainment and celebrity focused youtube channels that just surpassed 1 billion views (mainly teen girl demographic). Alloy recently acquired video game site The Escapist (Zero Punctuation is their most popular video series).<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m creating a new position for an E-commerce Merchandising Manager to be on my team who has experience and\/or interest in fashion, geek culture, analytics, technology and e-commerce. Bonus if this person likes the Onion, College Humor, video games, stores like Urban Outfitters \/ H&amp;M, sites like Fab.com and\/or youtube culture.. A sense of humor, being kind to people and animals, and staying calm in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment is a plus.<\/p>\n<p>Duties include:<\/p>\n<p>-Updating and maintaining the ecommerce site<\/p>\n<p>-Copy writing<\/p>\n<p>-Managing Analytics, Sales and Inventory reporting<\/p>\n<p>-Working on Youtube annotations and strategy.<\/p>\n<p>-assists with merch related social media\/social commerce<\/p>\n<p>-assists with trend research,\u00a0merchandising and product development (tee-shirts, clothing, non-clothing)<\/p>\n<p>Merch categories include Guys and Girls clothing, accessories, digital goods and geeky toys (like the store\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thinkgeek.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">thinkgeek.com<\/a>\u00a0or at Urban Outfitters).\u00a0I need to fill this full-time position asap\u2026ideally to start Jan 2. I am also willing to consider a 3-4 month full-time freelance scenario.
