Grassroots Campaigns, Inc is a progressi=
\nve political consulting firm that<\/div>\n
specializes in running =
\nface-to-face citizen mobilization campaigns for<\/div>\n

\n parties, candidates, and advocacy groups. By running campaigns<\/div>\n
on behalf of groups such as the National Democratic Party, MoveOn.org=
\n, the<\/div>\n
American Civil Liberties Union, and Amnesty Interna=
\ntional we can focus on<\/div>\n
building up their membership and v=
\nolunteer bases while running field<\/div>\n
campaigns for candidat=
\nes and other organizations to win progressive<\/div>\n

\nn the local, state, and national level and mobilize citizens to<\/div>\n
be more actively involved and engaged in politics.<\/div>\n

Job Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

\nam of 15-50 canvassers by recruiting from within<\/div>\n

\nl community.=A0 Interview prospective staff and make hiring<\/div>\n
decisions.<\/div>\n

\nskills.=A0 Work with your<\/div>\n
staff in individual and group s=
\nettings, with a particular eye towards<\/div>\n
developing leaders=
\n.=A0 Cultivate a welcoming and motivating atmosphere.<\/div>\n

\n=A0 Canvass in the field three to four days per week, to train<\/div>\n
new and experienced staff in the field and meet personal fundraising<\/p>\n

Newly hired directors will typically spend three weeks do=

training, working intensely alongside experienc=

attend a week-long national cl=

receive supp=
\nort from regional management staff throughout their time on<\/div>\n
staff.<\/div>\n
After one year in the position, staff will hav=
\ne learned the basics of<\/div>\n
running a successful grassroots c=
\nampaign, including, but not limited to,<\/div>\n
fundraising and d=
\nonor recruitment, hiring and supervising staff and\/or<\/div>\n

\nunteers, and turf management.<\/div>\n

Positions are for a minimum =
