NASA Video Producer \u2013 Planetary Missions \/ Science

\nWe have an immediate opening for a video science producer for our planetary and space science themes. \u00a0\u00a0This would be a perfect position for a producer with a flair for science storytelling who might get a kick out of working with some of our most exciting planetary missions \u2013 LRO (Moon), Curiosity (Mars), MAVEN (Mars), OSIRIS (Asteroid), and Comet ISON.<\/span><\/span>You will be working with a world class team of writers, data visualizers, producers, social media experts, and scientists to produce short form video products targeting a wide array of audiences \u2013 broadcast media, media websites, educators, students, science center professionals, bloggers, park rangers, and the general public.You will be responsible for all phases of video production: generating story ideas, writing scripts, directing camera operators, working with animators and data visualizers, editing, captioning, overseeing product distribution. \u00a0You will produce short form video content, video news releases, live public affairs and news programming, educational vignettes, webcasts, and integrated web content.This is a full time position located at NASA\u2019s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. \u00a0It is being administered through our partner\u00a0Universities Space Research Association (USRA).
