We’re a neighborhood social start up looking for an outstanding Interaction\u00a0Designer\u00a0with experience in designing social websites and\/or applications.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/b>
\n— Help to define the user interface for new and existing products and features.
\n— Develop high level and\/or detailed mockups and\u00a0designs.
\n— Build interactive prototypes.
\n— Assess the usability of new and existing products and features.
\n— Conduct and moderate usability tests.
\nQualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n
— BA\/BS in HCI, Interaction Design, HCI, Product Design, Information Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science or related field; or two years of equivalent work experience.
\n— Two years of experience\u00a0designing\u00a0consumer-focused web and\/or mobile websites.
\n— Strong CSS and HTML skills; solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and\/or Fireworks.
\n— Strong portfolio showcasing skills in core design and UX principles.
\n— Solid understanding of layout, typography, color and other design principles.
\n— Strong track record communicating design rationale and conceptual ideas.
\n— Intimate knowledge of emerging technologies, applications across social platforms and mobile devices.<\/p>\n
