Position Summary:
\nAs part of the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management\u2019s Investment Products and Services group, the Visual Design Lead is responsible for the creation of stunning visual design for web, desktop, and mobile applications across the firm that support the needs of our clients and financial advisors. Key platforms supported by our team include:<\/p>\n

Key platforms supported by our team include:
\n\u2022 3D Desktop: a robust data- and transaction-oriented desktop application that supports all aspects of client management and branch operations
\n\u2022 3D Mobile: a iPad optimized app for viewing client financial data
\n\u2022 3D Resources: an internal content portal used by the entire firm
\n\u2022 Center for Investment Excellence: a research and partnership portal
\n\u2022 Morgan Stanley \u00a0Online: an online investment and banking application for our wealth management clients
\n\u2022 Morgan Stanley Online for mobile devices (iPhone, Android, iPad)
\n\u2022 Various social initiatives, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
\n\u2022 Financial Advisor marketing websites<\/p>\n

Skills Required<\/b>
\nExperience:
\nMinimum 10 years of industry experience in a well-established user experience design role with emphasis on user interface and interaction design for complex, data-driven websites, desktop applications, and mobile apps. \u00a0Financial services experience a plus.<\/p>\n

Roles\/Responsibilities:
\n– Manage multiple projects, designers, and consultants
\n– Hands-on design of complex, pixel-perfect interfaces and data visualizations
\n– Close collaboration with other members of the UX team, as well as key business and technology stakeholders
\n– Champion existing visual design patterns and extend and document emerging patterns
\n– Create visual specs, redlines and maintain style guides
\n– Conduct visual design quality assurance and user acceptance testing<\/p>\n

Skills\/Abilities:
\n– Experience in: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft Office
\n– Excellent attention to detail and impeccable standards of delivery
\n– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\n– Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met
\n– Ability to manage junior designers and consultants<\/p>\n
