Strong command of Ruby and Ruby on Rails<\/p>\n<p>2. Experience with Rails Engines, Rspec, Cucumber, and Git<\/p>\n<p>3. Understanding of good usability and what makes users go crazy<\/p>\n<p>4. Ability to read a support ticket that makes no sense at all and translate that into a deployed bug fix<\/p>\n<p>and a satisfied user.<\/p>\n<p>PLUSSES<\/p>\n<p>x Active contributor to open source projects<\/p>\n<p>x Familiarity with Amazon EC2, Heroku, and New Relic<\/p>\n<p>TELECOMMUTING<\/p>\n<p>We want to hire the best candidate, regardless of location, so telecommuting is an option. All things being equal, though, weWd ideally love to have someone who can join us in our NYC office.
