Three Byte Intermedia is a small custom software company based in NYC.<\/p>\n
We are looking for a skilled software engineer to join a small team working on several current projects.\u00a0 The software engineer will be focused, independently motivated, and collaborative.\u00a0 As a developer, he or she will be able to evaluate priorities and find creative solutions that minimize project bottlenecks and integrate with other developers\u2019 work.\u00a0 The developer will be expected to propose new ideas based on his or her experience.<\/p>\n
The position requires a 4 month commitment as a full-time independent contractor, which will focus on implementing high-visibility interactive exhibits.\u00a0\u00a0 The developer will be expected to consistently set and meet aggressive development milestones, while actively communicating development progress and iterating to achieve individual and team goals.\u00a0 Additional development opportunities include computer vision, video playback, rich user interface construction, robotics, database management\/analysis, and web-based content management and control systems.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Independent, creative problem-solving<\/p>\n
\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Using Redmine and Subversion to maintain professional programming habits<\/p>\n
