We are award-winning (Sundance, Obie, Drama Desk, Hewes,Venice Biennale, PrGue Quadrennial) and on the bleeding edge\u00a0of art,\u00a0technology and the future of arts organizations\u00a0and cultural\u00a0business.\u00a0College grad, someone in grad program or needing internship hours to put towards a degree is ideal. Our internship program is apprenticeship based; mutually advantageous and tailored to each individual intern&#8217;s goals and needs. The\u00a0opportunity\u00a0to work within the organization as a freelancer is an option upon completion of a 3-month internship. We are in the process of building staff.<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Interest in: New integrative Art and Technology. Downtown theater and media production. Willing to\u00a0help\u00a0design and build large-scale integrated media-heavy performance installations, interactive environments and film (2D-and 3D) as well pioneer new mopping methods for our 100 foot deep white tube shaped entryway while constantly reshuffling gear from shelf to shelf to maximize storage efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Good Knowledge of Video Editing (Premiere and \/ or Final Cut Pro)\n<ul>\n<li>BONUS: Basic Knowledge of Color Correction<\/li>\n<li>BONUS: Basic Knowledge of After Effects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Cameras, Lenses and Codecs both HD &amp; SD (D-SLRs, Hero,\u00a0<i>classic\u00a0<\/i>Mini-DV,\u00a04k Red, P2, etc etc).\n<ul>\n<li>BONUS: Script editing \/ Story-boarding.<\/li>\n<li>BONUS: P.A. and production experience (however great or small)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Adobe Photoshop \/ Illustrator<\/li>\n<li>Sound and lighting design for stage and film<\/li>\n<li>HTML \/ CSS \/ Server Backend and Web Design<\/li>\n<li>Vj &amp; Video Design Skills\n<ul>\n<li>Projection Mapping<\/li>\n<li>MadMapper<\/li>\n<li>Syphon<\/li>\n<li>Max \/ MSP Jitter<\/li>\n<li>Isadora<\/li>\n<li>OSC &amp; Midi Control<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Projector brands, throw calculations and lensing from .1ks Picos to 20ks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Carpentry Welding, Fabrication\u00a0and Painting Skills\n<ul>\n<li>BONUS: CAD \/ Vectorworks<\/li>\n<li>BONUS: Light rendering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of I.T. and ability to nerd out on software solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Organization skills. Need to organize some stuff? Looking for someone who takes\u00a0initiative,\u00a0builds some shelves and creates a system moving forward. Looking to integrate client, founder, audience database and create routine effective crowd funding platform.<\/li>\n<li>CRM Software (Client Relationship Management), Google Docs as project management, Google Apps, Google Calendar etc etc.<\/li>\n<li>Budgets: Quickbooks, Budgeting, Line-Producing, Cash-flow, Receipt tracking, Expense Reports<\/li>\n<li>Events Planning: RSVP lists, Fire-Code, Capacities, Liquor Licenses, Albany and\u00a0Bureaucracy,\u00a0Good Times &amp; interfacing with all sorts of artists.<\/li>\n<li>Development and Programming help run\u00a0programs for Community Outreach and Residents within our space(s). Developing programs for all sorts of new-media artists.<\/li>\n<li>Social Media &amp; Marketing: Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr &#8212;<\/li>\n<li>Ticketing: Point of Sale devices and Web Services (like Ovation tix, Brown Paper Tickets etc etc)<\/li>\n<li>Grant-Writing &amp; traditional not for profit development. Not for profit\/for profit partnering and business development and strategy<\/li>\n<li>International Cultural and Culture Business partnerships.<\/li>\n<li>We are as experimental in business as we are in art.
