This would be an on-site position, working from our studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p>Us:<\/p>\n<p>[Type\/Code](<a href=\"http:\/\/typecode.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/typecode.<wbr \/>com<\/a>) is an interaction design studio that works with ambitious clients to bring powerful ideas to life. Our clients range from well-known brands like Google and MoMA, to awesomely ambitious start-ups, and everything in between. We focus on conceiving, designing, and developing exceptional digital experiences, across all sorts of devices. Our studio atmosphere is fun, laid-back, and full of a passionate group of friends who are never not working love what they do.<\/p>\n<p>Role:<\/p>\n<p>You will be working closely with our creative directors on a range of project types, including websites, web applications, mobile applications and more. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of our projects: from strategy and design research, to prototyping and iterating on design solutions, to the execution of final deliverables and collaborating with our development team.<\/p>\n<p>You:<\/p>\n<p><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Are creative and detail-oriented, with awesome aesthetic taste and excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Have exceptional typographic and layout skills.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Have significant experience designing for digital mediums, specifically user interface design for websites and web applications, for both desktop browsers and mobile devices.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Have a strong understanding of User Experience fundamentals, and a passion for designing digital experiences that are both beautiful, and a joy to engage with.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Are comfortable with design research, finding precedents, assembling type, image and color studies, and rapidly prototyping and iterating on design solutions.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Are really good with Adobe\u2019s Creative Suite (specifically, Photoshop and Illustrator).<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Have at least a cursory understanding of HTML\/CSS (the more development skills the better), and a solid understanding of how the things you design will be built.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Are comfortable working on a team, both \u201cowning\u201d complex deliverables with minimal guidance, and leveraging collaborative workflows when needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><br \/>\nCompensation:<br \/>\nDay rate TBD: based on experience.
