MyCityWay, based in New York City, is a mobile tech company that produces self-learning, highly personalized mobile interfaces and apps that guide residents and visitors through their daily experiences in the city. Today, the company\u2019s apps service has grown significantly connecting with millions of consumers in over 100 cities around the world. MyCityWay\u2019s enterprise mobility platform delivers unique apps, targeted engagement and monetization for major brands in media, auto, travel & hospitality, and events.<\/p>\n
About the Position
\nAs a member of MyCityWay’s product management team, we want you to bring experience building real products in the real world from the ground up. Having worked at a digital media agency in the past in an analytical role would be a huge plus.<\/p>\n
Your teammates should see you as the go to person for tough problems on the intersection of objective analysis (science) and subjective opinion (liberal arts). You should be comfortable jumping in the deep end and learning new skills on a cutting edge platform.<\/p>\n
We are aggressively building out predictive systems and methods for improving customer segmentation, targeting and engagement. This in turn drives ROI on the highly personal mobile platform. Expertise in digital media implementation and measurement (analytics, KPIs) from a marketer’s perspective would be key to be successful in this role.<\/p>\n
What We’re Looking for in Candidates
\n\u2022 You should be able to communicate broad vision and minute details around a product with equal ease.
\n\u2022 Your peers should see you as a top-notch problem solver. You should be comfortable defining new solutions and refining existing ones. Thought leadership in the mobile tech space \u2013 with awareness about existing best of breed use cases, and new ideas that eliminate friction between the user and information on the go.
\n\u2022 Any experience with interaction design principles, tools, and techniques would prove to be extremely useful.
\n\u2022 Comfortable in a small, intense and high-growth start-up environment.<\/p>\n
This paid internship role is based at our loft style HQ in the West Village of NYC.<\/p>\n
