The Product Development team at Comedy Central Digital Media is
\nlooking for a mid- to sr-level Information Architect. This position is
\nfull-time freelance, to permanent staff for the right candidate. As
\npart of the IA group, you will be a strong user advocate and
\ncollaborate closely with a team to produce great interactive
\nexperiences.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:
\n– Contribute to the development of new product interfaces, feature
\nsets, and information flows
\n– Work with Production, Product Development, Design, and Technology to
\noptimize existing products and templates
\n– Contribute to the design of user testing and analysis of results
\n– Create detailed wire frames, story boards, mock-ups, user flows, and
\npresentations to effectively illustrate interfaces, ideas and
\narchitecture
\n– Keep abreast of best-practices for user interaction and design
\n– Implementation of the user interface design<\/p>\n
Skills:
\n– Excellent visual communication skills
\n– Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and the Adobe Creative Suite
\n– Working knowledge of current web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc)
\n– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n– Excellent analytical ability
\n– Familiarity with usability methodologies<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\n – Background in graphic design, HCI, interaction design, user
\nexperience or related field
\n– B.A. required. 2+ years experience preferred.
\n– Must be adaptable, open-minded, thorough and constructive<\/p>\n
