mcgarrybowen is seeking a\u00a0Senior UXD<\/b>\u00a0who is passionate about finding innovative solutions to complex problems and driven to craft experiences that users will fall in love with. \u00a0The ideal candidate will enjoy defining end-to-end user experiences that include mobile apps, digital services, and marketing initiatives.<\/p>\n

As an integral member of the team, you\u2019ll be able to flex your creative muscles as you collaborate closely with visual designers, copywriters, producers and technologists as well as our clients. \u00a0We love individuals who ask a lot of smart questions, are always sketching out new ideas, and who get bored when they don\u2019t have a meaty challenge in front of them.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities and experience<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– Designing innovative consumer experiences that \u2018move the needle\u2019<\/p>\n
– Guiding the team in making key project decisions at both the macro and micro levels<\/p>\n
– Advocating for the user and making this practice contagious<\/p>\n
– Uncovering insights based on consumer behavior<\/p>\n
– Spotting emerging trends in the digital space<\/p>\n
– Using your entrepreneurial spirit to identify new business opportunities for clients<\/p>\n
– Marrying consumer needs with business objectives<\/p>\n
– Designing for a variety of contexts (e.g., mobile, tablet, desktop)<\/p>\n
– Clearly communicating complex ideas to a broad audience (which may include those unfamiliar with general UX principles)<\/p>\n
– Creating rock-solid deliverables including wireframes, competitive assessments, flows, feature lists, and functional specifications<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Job Qualifications<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– 3 or more years \u00a0(5+ preferred) of professional experience in UX or Interaction Design<\/p>\n
– Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design principles<\/p>\n
– Thorough understanding of digital trends and best practices (i.e., RWD, native app design, social design)<\/p>\n
– Familiarity with the capabilities and limitations of current web technologies (i.e., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)<\/p>\n
– Mastery of UX tools such as Adobe InDesign and\/or OmniGraffle<\/p>\n
– Portfolio or work samples required<\/p>\n
