CUTLOG NY VIDEO PROGRAM<\/p>\n
After four successful years in Paris, cutlog invites all video artists and producers\u00a0of moving images to participate in the 1st New York edition of the art fair from\u00a0May 10-13, 2013.<\/p>\n
LOCATION<\/p>\n
Each day, the auditorium at the Clemente Soto Vel\u00e9z Cultural Center, a former\u00a0public school in New York\u2019s Lower East Side, will screen videos as well as host\u00a0performances, workshops and discussions. After sundown in the 10,000 sq ft\u00a0courtyard, videos will be projected on two monumental screens, provided by\u00a0Rooftop Films.<\/p>\n

OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS<\/p>\n
Submitted videos can be of any duration and any genre (from animation to\u00a0narrative features to music videos). While there are no thematic restrictions,\u00a0submissions relating to the following theme are encouraged: Translating Urbanit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

AFTER HOURS: \u00a0OPEN CALL FOR PROPOSALS<\/p>\n
At the end of each night, emerging artists will have the chance to use cutlog\u2019s\u00a0outdoor screens to produce new work. With each project granted 1-2 hours,\u00a0this short-term residency\/open studio\/performance seeks to support multidisciplinary,\u00a0site-specific proposals. Please note that while cutlog will provide\u00a0access to a 20 ft airscreen, a 10 ft fast fold screen and technical assistance, the\u00a0artists a re r esponsible for any additional costs.<\/p>\n
