Product Designer<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n

Quovo is looking for a Product Designer to help us conceive, design, prototype and implement a user experience that revolutionizes how people interact with financial data.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We are a well-funded start-up that provides data management and analytics services for investors (learn \u00a0about what we do at\u00a0www.quovo.com<\/a>). Our mandate is to combine Big Data horsepower with an intuitive and dazzling front-end in order to make once-burdensome and disparate tasks a real breeze (and maybe even a pleasure). Tools as powerful as ours are usually UX abominations; conversely, the<\/div>\n
prettiest financial sites are also some of the least sophisticated. We\u2019re bridging that gap \u2014 and we need your help!<\/div>\n

Note: We are flexible on the arrangement, be it full-time, part-time, contract, or even intern if you think you\u2019ve got the chops but your resume isn\u2019t quite long enough. Our priority is to find the best talent and work with them however makes the most sense.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Responsibilities<\/b><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n
– Serve as UX and design lead on platform-wide reimagining of our look and feel<\/div>\n
Work closely with senior developers and strategists to translate use cases, customer personas, and business priorities into specific UX\/UI and design solutions<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– Assist with front-end development, specifically around CSS and design implementation<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– Translate and push forward concepts from ideas to wireframes, visualizations, and mockups\/front-end coding \u2014 at the global, page, and specific feature level<\/div>\n
Inject customer delight into information architecture through visual and graphic design<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– Create and update style guides to support our brand<\/div>\n
Lead ongoing customer and usability research to iterate and improve the product over time<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Qualifications<\/b><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n
– Top-notch Photoshop, Illustrator skills<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– Strong knowledge of HTML\/CSS<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– Experience with JavaScript\/jQuery<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– Experience with data-driven applications or data visualization a big plus<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– The ability to translate sophisticated use cases into elegant solutions<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– Experience with or interest in the financial industry a plus<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– A self-starter with a strong sense of collaboration<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
– A strong conceptual thinker who is a fast learner and detail-oriented<\/div>\n
