Spend your summer working with the brand experience team that drives the award-winning\u00a0Autodesk Gallery<\/a>, which has been named a top destination by both\u00a0Wired<\/i>\u00a0magazine and the\u00a0San Francisco Chronicle.<\/i>\u00a0With 20+ exhibits, interactive displays, and a scholar-in-residence studio, the Gallery is a truly unique marketing asset that communicates how Autodesk helps people imagine, design, and create a better world.<\/p>\n

Do Something Great<\/b><\/p>\n

In this internship role, you will enhance the gallery visitor experience by creating a new mobile application proposal that will help to expand the reach of the Autodesk story.<\/p>\n

For this project you will:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Start with a brainstorming exercise: How can the gallery visitor experience be enhanced with digital\/mobile tools, such as a self-guided tour on a phone or tablet? What apps are other museums and galleries creating and using to enrich visitor experiences?<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Conduct market research and gather research on existing programs\/apps in order to create a plan for an asset that both enhances the in-gallery visitor experience and translates into an engaging online experience<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Collaborate with software architects, product designers, product managers, test engineers, brand creative and others to develop a design proto-type for a high-quality application<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Research vendors that can partner with Autodesk to build and deploy the mobile application.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Document process for deploying asset and activating the experience for our visitors<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Integrate process for user testing, debugging and solving defects in implemented software asset<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Incorporate a strategic long term content plan for maintaining and updating asset<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Full-time student pursuing a graduate degree in User Experience Design, Computer Science Interaction Design, Computer Science, Human-computer interaction, or related field at an accredited program in the United States with at least one academic term to complete post internship to be eligible for internship participation<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Prior experience in developing content for mobile apps for the iPad\/iPhone and\/or Android platforms.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong communication skills, ability to talk to multiple types of audiences ranging from managers, customers, partners and software development folks<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong interpersonal skills and ability to convey complex information in a polished, clear, concise, and professional manner<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ability to work in team environment and successfully build collaborative relationships throughout the Company<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Approaches projects analytically and creatively<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Bonus Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience with mobile app design on multiple mobile platforms such as iOS and Android<\/p>\n
