S\/he will advise students enrolled in IDM courses, and will support IDM faculty\u00a0and students. The Academic Advisor will implement the course schedule in consultation\u00a0with the IDM director and others. S\/he will also have responsibility for identifying and\u00a0planning regular events to build bridges to the IDM professional community and to support\u00a0recruitment of students to the IDM program.<\/p>\n<p>B) Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise Undergraduate and Graduate students for registration and throughout the\u00a0semester to ensure academic requirements are being met<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and schedule courses with IDM faculty, working with other Poly and\u00a0NYU faculty and staff as needed<\/li>\n<li>Organize and oversee portfolio review and interviews of applicants for Graduate\u00a0Selection Committee<\/li>\n<li>Answer queries from potential students interested in the BS or MS in DM degree<\/li>\n<li>Identify and plan regular events for IDM with the professional IDM community\u00a0and with prospective IDM students<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required by Director of IDM and Department Head of TCS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>C) Education and Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Integrated Digital Media or related field<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop, HTML, Microsoft Word<\/li>\n<li>Strong connections to regional IDM professional community<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be dependable, proactive, and able to work with a wide range of faculty and\u00a0staff from across Poly and NYU<\/li>\n<li>Competence to work independently and problem solve with a high level of\u00a0attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Student-centered attitude<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Joan A.
