Learn\u00a0more at easi6.com, and join the discussion at: blog.easi6.com.<\/p>\n<p>Job Description:<br \/>\nWe\u2019re looking for a UI\/UX design intern, who will be involved in the design and\u00a0branding of our mobile iOS LBS\/SNS and social media app (Doors &amp; Dots) and various platform solutions. The applicant will complete tasks both remotely &amp; at our office in\u00a0Jersey City, NJ, and will be at the forefront of efforts to offer an engaging user\u00a0experience to Doors &amp; Dots users. This position is project specific and will necessitate\u00a0that a successful candidate be comfortable working independently and as part of a team,\u00a0have strong interpersonal communication skills, and not be afraid to take chances with<br \/>\ntheir artistic license.<\/p>\n<p>Duties\/Responsibilities:<br \/>\n-Translate requirements into concepts and engaging designs.<br \/>\n-Create interaction models, user task flows, and screen designs, including customized UI\/UX protocols and exciting color\/layout and typography schemes.<br \/>\n-Manage and maintain graphic files electronically (logos, icons, photos, and artwork).<br \/>\n-Collaborate with other designers and with programming\/engineering staff.<br \/>\n-Develop and adjust design mockups and specifications.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<br \/>\n-Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.<br \/>\n-Experience with consumer-facing, mobile-application interfaces.<br \/>\n-Professional skills in Photoshop and\/or Illustrator, and familiarity with wire-framing tools such as InDesign or other tools<br \/>\n-Knowledge of prototyping methodologies and best practices.<br \/>\n-Familiarity with a variety of mobile UI\/UX design paradigms<\/p>\n<p>Pluses:<br \/>\n-Intermediate proficiency in video editing (Quicktime, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).<br \/>\n-Skills in Basic, HTML, and CSS<\/p>\n<p>How to apply:<br \/>\nPlease submit a resume and a brief, cover letter\/email to: <strong>info@easi6.com<\/strong>.
