\nAs an intern, you\u2019ll work side-by-side with our industry\u2019s brightest minds\u2014receiving mentorship, training, and experience on real, live accounts. You\u2019ll also take part in seminars, panels, and projects that will connect you with the latest industry trends and information. You won\u2019t be bored.<\/p>\n

The Prototype Studio at R\/GA comprises an interdisciplinary team including experience design, visual design, technology, and production. It\u2019s a highly collaborative team that is fast and nimble. We create simulations of customer experiences that can range in fidelity from paper to video to fully functional applications. Projects can include responsive experiences, mobile applications, animation explorations, interactive installations, physical computing, and more.<\/p>\n

The Prototype Studio is seeking a multidisciplinary\/hybrid intern; someone who excels in both design and tech, with an emphasis and interest especially in the latter. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can support the lead producers with general team duties as needed. Specific skills and traits should include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Design: Knows Photoshop and possesses a strong visual sensibility; 3D printing knowledge, 3D modeling skills, animation capability, and\/or interest in product design is a plus
\n\u2022 Tech: Knows HTML and javascript; constantly exploring new software; interested and cognizant of the mobile, retail, physical computing, and\/or product development landscape
\n\u2022 Production and soft skills: Ambitious, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, curious, communicative, organized, collaborative with various disciplines and personalities, reliable, dedicated, and willing to pitch in on anything and everything<\/p>\n

The Prototype Studio intern will:
\n\u2022 Contribute regularly to client and internal brainstorms for best-in-class user experiences
\n\u2022 Support visual designers with creative development, asset-cutting, animation development, interface sketches, and more
\n\u2022 Support developers with HTML and Javascript development, possibly with responsive prototypes in particular, as well as other programming projects
\n\u2022 Conduct research: Investigate APIs at the onset of projects, evaluate software platforms for prototyping, and evaluate vendors (for 3D printing, user testing, etc.)
\n\u2022 Provide general production and team support: Capture project and technical learnings from prototypes and aggregate into an internal database, help with project tracking details, maintain the team\u2019s internal site and blog, and more.<\/p>\n
