KBS+ is a digital agency that requires UX practitioners to be not just focused on taxonomies and usability, but also be active members of the creative process.\u00a0 UXDs are involved in all stages of a project\u2019s life from discovery and initial brainstorming to the final launch and beyond.\u00a0 They define and document parameters of the project experience; their concept and specifications form the indispensible manual for the project, ensuring the vision carries through execution.<\/p>\n
As a senior member of the team this position will involve mentorship and management of junior team members.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:
\nLead project discovery process and document findings
\nCollaborate with teammates, clients, and third parties to craft cogent Experience strategies, including but not limited to user personas, user journeys, interaction models
\nLead UX ideation, and refine those concepts into client presentations
\nLead definition of experience requirements
\nParticipate in project scoping
\nReview and guide the work of junior members of the UX team
\nDocument experience specifications in loving, painstaking detail<\/p>\n
Requirements:
\n4+ years experience designing and documenting applications or large-scale digital campaigns, involving detailed UX documentation and Experience Strategy.
\nCompelling presentation skills
\nComfortable working closely with clients
\nGenerates documentation at a high level
\nComfortable with sketching
\nCollaborates well with the rest of the creative team
\nProven ability to multi-task, and cope with quick turnaround projects
\nSolid writing and visual communication skills
\nWorks with Omnigraffle, and familiarity with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop as well as other tools for generating wireframes and behavior specifications
\nKnowledge of usability heuristics and relevant HCI literature
\nHave a sense of humor and a fondness for pie<\/p>\n
