{"id":13960,"date":"2013-06-24T16:40:19","date_gmt":"2013-06-24T20:40:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/opportunities\/?p=13960"},"modified":"2013-06-24T16:40:19","modified_gmt":"2013-06-24T20:40:19","slug":"call-bridge-fall-applications-now-open-with-airbnb-pinterest-dropbox-and-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/opportunities\/2013\/06\/24\/call-bridge-fall-applications-now-open-with-airbnb-pinterest-dropbox-and-more\/","title":{"rendered":"[CALL] Bridge Fall Applications Now Open with Airbnb, Pinterest, Dropbox and more"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Applications are now open for Bridge, a designer-in-residence program that connects experienced designers with top startups in the San Francisco Bay Area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">New startups <a href=\"http:\/\/designerfund.com\/bridge\/company\/rdio\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rdio<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/designerfund.com\/bridge\/company\/healthtap\/\" target=\"_blank\">Healthtap<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/designerfund.com\/bridge\/company\/flipboard\" target=\"_blank\">Flipboard<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/designerfund.com\/bridge\/company\/change-org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Change.org<\/a> are joining existing partners <a href=\"http:\/\/designerfund.com\/bridge\/company\/airbnb\/\" target=\"_blank\">Airbnb<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/designerfund.com\/bridge\/company\/pinterest\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pinterest<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/designerfund.com\/bridge\/company\/dropbox\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dropbox<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/designerfund.com\/bridge\/company\/path\/\" target=\"_blank\">Path<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/designerfund.com\/bridge\/company\/asana\/\" target=\"_blank\">Asana<\/a> to help designers learn what it takes to run successful companies and ship great products. All of these companies have a great mission, product and culture that truly values design.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">How it works:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Designers apply and once selected, choose which startup to join. Designers work fulltime at their startup and once a week participate in talks and workshops with a community of exceptional designers for 3 months. After Bridge, designers may continue working with their startup or join another company. The Bridge Fall session will run from September 24 &#8211; December 17, 2013.
