User Experience Design Intern<\/p>\n

DOOR3 (http:\/\/www.door3.com) is looking for a talented user experience intern to help in the\u00a0strategy, architecture and visual design of web and mobile-based applications for a range of\u00a0clients and industries.<\/p>\n
Candidates should have an strong interest in web and mobile technology and an be well versed\u00a0on the fundamentals of user experience design, interaction design, information architecture,\u00a0and graphic design.<\/p>\n
In this position, you will work closely with our team of User Experience Designers to translate\u00a0business ideas into beautiful, usable applications.<\/p>\n
You will also have the opportunity to\u00a0collaborate with members of our marketing, business analysis and engineering teams.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Desired Skills<\/p>\n
\u25cf Strong understanding of the core concepts of information architecture, interaction\u00a0design, usability and visual design of web and mobile applications.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Advanced skill set using the Adobe Creative Suite of products, especially Photoshop,\u00a0InDesign, and Illustrator.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational and\u00a0issue resolution.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Excellent collaborative skills. Ability to work as part of a team.<\/p>\n
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and\u00a0\u00a0abilities listed below<\/p>\n
\u25cf Pursuing a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in a relevant field.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Must have the authorization to work in the US.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Must be able to work on site at our offices in Manhattan.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Available a minimum of 2 days starting in the Fall.<\/p>\n
