Position Description:<\/p>\n
Seeking a creative, motivated, detail-oriented individual to produce interactive, engaging\u00a0multimedia objects for online\/onsite courses.<\/p>\n
This position will require the use of creative software and programming techniques to\u00a0develop powerful and effective interactive applications.<\/p>\n
The selected candidate will work on two major projects involving graphical interface\u00a0designing.<\/p>\n

Preferred Commitment:<\/p>\n
10 – 15 hours per week for a two-month minimum.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Pay Rate:<\/p>\n
$20 – $25 per hour<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Create instructional, graphical materials for course content following style guidelines<\/p>\n
Work on Branding material, logos, e-posters, videos backdrops, etc\u2026<\/p>\n
Create interactive content templates for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics\u00a0(STEM) courses using different authoring software<\/p>\n
Create graphical user interfaces for Multimedia, Web, and Blackboard courses<\/p>\n
Work and collaborate with the Faculty Innovations in Teaching and Learning Center (FITL)\u00a0team to ensure designs and content are in line with the Center\u2019s objectives<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Desired Quali\ufb01cations:<\/p>\n
Senior or Graduate Student in Interactive Designer Program<\/p>\n
Skills: Graphic Design, Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Flash, Photoshop,\u00a0Dreamweaver.etc\u2026), Working knowledge of CSS\/HTML, Javascript and ActionScripting,\u00a0Microsoft Office software<\/p>\n
Ability to learn new software applications and programming techniques in a short period of\u00a0time<\/p>\n
Experience in user-interface design, page layout, navigation and interactive multimedia<\/p>\n
Must have excellent command of color, space, type, motion graphics, storyboarding, audio,\u00a0music, etc<\/p>\n
Working knowledge of the advanced ActionScripting necessary to create user interactive\u00a0flash applications<\/p>\n
Ability to efficiently produce multimedia along with the ability to understand instructional\u00a0needs and translate them into graphic and multimedia designs.<\/p>\n
Knowledge of the Blackboard Learning Management System<\/p>\n
Good oral and written communication skills<\/p>\n
