Setting and Reporting<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">The internship with the Global Field Support Strategy Implementation and Coordination Team, Office of the Under-Secretary-General for Field Support is for a minimum of three months with the opportunity for extension, depending on the needs of the Office. \u00a0The Global Field Support Strategy is the overarching programme for improving the way support services (logistics, human resources, finance and ICT) are delivered for UN peacekeeping operations and UN special political missions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">The internship is UNPAID and hours are flexible. \u00a0Interns will work under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">Responsibilities<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">Responsibilities of the intern may include, but are not limited to:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u2022 Supporting the Team in updating and maintaining GFSS management tools (i.e.performance\/risk framework, benefits realization, shared services and programme implementation plan ) and providing data visualizations, analysis of data and other information to support decision-making.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u2022 Providing inputs to briefing papers and other written materials on field support issues relating to UN peacekeeping and special political missions for the use of DFS management.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u2022 Assisting the Team with the preparation of meetings and teleconferences, workshops etc, including supporting periodic meetings of the GFSS governance bodies. \u00a0Help prepare agendas and background documents, draft meeting notes and summaries, and track action items.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u2022 Supporting the implementation of GFSS Change Management and Communication plans, including by:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 i. Designing and implementing internal communications and outreach tools and activities;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 ii. Maintaining the GFSS web-based repository of GFSS information documents and fact sheets and supporting the Team in regular outreach to stakeholders at HQ and in the field;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 iii. Developing and analyzing client surveys, including updating and translating of survey questions, collection and evaluation of data, and presentation of findings;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 iv.
