NYU Office of Web Communications is seeking a part-time student
\nworker for 10-20 hours\/week. Ideal candidates have a working knowledge<\/p>\n
of HTML\/CSS, a rudimentary knowledge of photoshop,\u00a0 experience in a
\nprofessional environment, solid verbal and written communication
\nskills, and strong editing skills and attention to details.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities for this position include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Performing HTML\/CSS updates to existing NYU sites
\n\u2022 Building and proofing HTML\/CSS e-mails based off provided art & copy
\n\u2022 Compiling e-mail lists and loading HTML e-mails for send in LYRIS
\n(HTML bulkmailer)
\n\u2022 Writing Quality Assurance\/Control (QA\/QC) test scripts from
\npublished specifications
\n\u2022 Following explicit QA\/QC script to test new Web development work,
\nmarking detailed notes and communicating Bugs and Issues through
\nestablished reporting mechanisms
\n\u2022 Additional administrative tasks as assigned<\/p>\n
In addition to maintaining the core nyu.edu presence, the Office of
\nWeb Communications is currently in the process of redesigning all
\ncentral administrative NYU web sites and implementing an enterprise
\ncontent management system. We\u2019re a pretty relaxed group, and the
\nschedule is fairly flexible \u2014 we prefer fixed weekly times, but can
\nwork around existing responsibilities. Salary is commensurate with
\nexperience, but preference will be given to applicants with work-study<\/p>\n
money.<\/p>\n
