The Museum of Modern Art\u00a0<\/b>is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2014 Internship Program.<\/p>\n
Description:<\/b><\/p>\n
The Spring 2014 Internship Program provides participants in-depth exposure to the workings of individual departments and practical and theoretical training in museum practices, and acquaints them with the role of museums in contemporary society. Working under the supervision of one of the Museum’s professional staff, interns contribute to timely projects, gain insight into the functions of individual departments, and learn about the Museum’s various collections, exhibitions, and programs for visitors.\u00a0 Internship projects are based on Museum needs and requirements and are assigned to interns with the appropriate skills and interests.\u00a0\u00a0This unpaid internship runs from\u00a0January 21\u00a0through December April 25, 2014.<\/b><\/p>\n
Eligibility:<\/b><\/p>\n
College students (One must have a minimum of one and a half years of college completed by January 2014), recent graduates (both B.A. and M.A.), graduate students, and beginning museum professionals.\u00a0 The Museum encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines to apply.\u00a0\u00a0Spring internships require a minimum commitment of two full days per week, one of which must be\u00a0Tuesday.<\/p>\n
