The position entails working with faculty on a project basis to develop new and interesting learning environments as well as helping faculty further develop their technology skills.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Skills and Abilities<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0Facility and comfort working independently and collaboratively<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Education and Experience<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0Bachelor\u00eds degree<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a02+ years experience in educational technology<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0Strong knowledge of application software<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0Mac OS applications<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0Google Apps for Education<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0Smart Interactive Whiteboards and Smart Notebook<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Responsibilities<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0Meet regularly with teachers to develop lessons\/projects that integrate technology into their curriculum<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Act as a resource for High School teachers both in and out of the classroom<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Conduct workshops and training sessions on emerging and basic technologies for faculty<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 Promote an environment of safe and ethical use of technology<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>About the school<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\u00a0The Abraham Joshua Heschel School, located in New York City, is an independent Jewish school, N-12, unaffiliated with any single movement or synagogue.
