This \u00a0pan-\u00ad\u2010faculty \u00a0position \u00a0will \u00a0attract \u00a0a \u00a0well-\u00ad\u2010established, \u00a0hybrid \u00a0research-\u00ad\u2010practitioner \u00a0with \u00a0an \u00a0innovative \u00a0programme \u00a0of \u00a0research, \u00a0critical \u00a0engagement \u00a0and \u00a0technology \u00a0development \u00a0in \u00a0the \u00a0area \u00a0of \u00a0interactive \u00a0information \u00a0visualization, \u00a0across \u00a0the \u00a0knowledge \u00a0domains \u00a0of \u00a0the \u00a0visual \u00a0arts, \u00a0media, \u00a0performance \u00a0and \u00a0design \u00a0and \u00a0often \u00a0engages \u00a0collaborations \u00a0with \u00a0computer \u00a0science \u00a0and \u00a0engineering. \u00a0The \u00a0successful \u00a0candidate \u00a0will \u00a0have \u00a0demonstrable \u00a0expertise \u00a0in \u00a0one \u00a0or \u00a0more \u00a0of \u00a0the \u00a0following: \u00a0abstract \u00a0visual \u00a0representations \u00a0of \u00a0data \u00a0from \u00a0complex \u00a0systems, \u00a0real-\u00ad\u2010time \u00a0algorithmic \u00a0video \u00a0and \u00a0animation, \u00a0data-\u00ad\u2010mining, \u00a0interactive \u00a0narrative \u00a0and \u00a0machinima, \u00a0stereo \u00a03D \u00a0visualization, \u00a0design \u00a0for \u00a0virtual \u00a0environments, \u00a0interactive \u00a0environmental \u00a0installation, \u00a0sensing \u00a0and \u00a0control \u00a0systems, \u00a0telematics, \u00a0user \u00a0interface \u00a0design, \u00a0massive \u00a0multi-\u00ad\u2010user \u00a0systems, \u00a0large \u00a0scale \u00a0projection \u00a0and \u00a0tangible \u00a0interfaces \u00a0for \u00a0media \u00a0rich \u00a0environments.<\/p>\n
