{"id":14749,"date":"2013-12-09T16:59:31","date_gmt":"2013-12-09T20:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/opportunities\/?p=14749"},"modified":"2013-12-09T16:59:31","modified_gmt":"2013-12-09T20:59:31","slug":"teaching-gig-physical-computing-instructor-k12-stem-education-at-nyu-school-of-engineering","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/opportunities\/2013\/12\/09\/teaching-gig-physical-computing-instructor-k12-stem-education-at-nyu-school-of-engineering\/","title":{"rendered":"[TEACHING \/ GIG] Physical Computing Instructor, K12 STEM Education at NYU School of Engineering"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">The Center for K12 STEM Education at NYU School of Engineering is seeking a graduate student instructor for our high school course on physical computing, electronics and mechanical systems, Creativity in Engineering, Science and Technology (CrEST). \u00a0Students at the NYU School of Engineering or at NYU&#8217;s Interactive Telecommunications Program will be particularly qualified for this position. \u00a0CrEST is a 60-hour course which will be taught on the School of Engineering&#8217;s campus in Downtown Brooklyn on Saturdays from mid-February through Mid-June. \u00a0Please see\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/crest.poly.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/crest.poly.edu<\/a>\u00a0for the full curriculum and more information. This will be the second run of the CrEST course.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Participating high school students attend the course free-of-charge, as part of a grant funded program the Center runs in collaboration with The After School Corporation.
