JOB DESCRIPTION<\/p>\n
The full-time Associate Buyer is responsible for achieving sales and profit objectives for<\/p>\n
a specific merchandise category or categories, under the direction of the Buyer. This<\/p>\n
responsibility includes the development and successful implementation of buying<\/p>\n
strategies, merchandise programs and marketing plans as well as incorporating<\/p>\n
competitive intelligences based on customer insights and business analysis.<\/p>\n
They will purchase and negotiate merchandise while partnering with Merchandise<\/p>\n
Planning to maximize business opportunities. The Associate Buyer is also responsible<\/p>\n
for assisting the Buyer in several capacities, and for aiding in the development and<\/p>\n
training of the Assistant Buyer and Merchandise Assistant.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\u2022 Bachelor’s degree<\/p>\n
\u2022 Resourceful self-starter, with a can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced<\/p>\n
entrepreneurial environment<\/p>\n
\u2022 Works well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of<\/p>\n
