Red Sea Ventures is a NY-based seed stage venture capital fund. We help our founders with product, go-to-market, biz dev, financing, legal, M&A and other strategic advice.<\/p>\n

Who we are looking for:
\n\u2022 1-2 years of investment banking or consulting;
\n\u2022 1-2 years experience at a NY-based, venture backed startup or major tech company\u00a0(programming or design experience a major plus);<\/p>\n

\u2022 Familiarity with standard venture terms and concepts;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Proven ability to identify opportunities in the media and technology landscape;
\n\u2022 Awareness of present state and future trends in all markets of focus;
\n\u2022 Understanding of what to look for in a great founder, product and business;
\n\u2022 Ability to operate in both structured and highly unstructured environments;
\n\u2022 A hustler or hacker who works smart applying novel approaches to problem solving; \u2022 Self starting, extremely ambitious, ready to make a mark; and<\/p>\n

Responsibilities\u00b7
\n\u2022 Frequent evaluation of new investment opportunities;
\n\u2022 Assist with recurring \/ ad hoc reporting and financial modeling;
\n\u2022 Support diligence and close of new transactions (end-to-end);
\n\u2022 Help define and execute on systems\/process;
\n\u2022 Active participation in the New York startup community, frequent attendance of events,\u00a0panels, discussions. You must become a pillar in the ecosystem if you are not\u00a0already; and
\n\u2022 Support investment team in analysis, thematic research and knowledge acquisition.<\/p>\n
