Hello again! I’m looking for a photographer for a special event and I
\nthought it wouldn’t hurt to ask you!<\/p>\n
Some background: I volunteer for a non-profit (501-c3), LRBT America,
\nan organization that funds free eye surgeries in some of the most
\nimpoverished areas in Pakistan. LRBT’s annual gala is coming up next
\nmonth and we are looking for someone to photograph the event, which
\nwill feature a fashion show.<\/p>\n
LRBT is the largest provider of quality eye care in Pakistan and is
\ncommitted to eradicating the suffering caused by visual impairment.
\nToday, there are over 1.7 million blind people in Pakistan, an
\nadditional 11 million afflicted with impaired vision, and tens of
\nthousands of children suffering from eye-related ailments. Many of
\nthese conditions are treatable and can be cured through simple,
\ncost-effective methods. Due to limited health care facilities and
\nfinancial resources, a simple eye ailment can lead to blindness.
\nSince its inception in 1984, LRBT has treated over 12 million people.<\/p>\n
I know it’s late notice, but I’ve been tasked with trying to find a
\nphotographer and I’m hoping you might be able to help or suggest
\nsomeone who is available. The event will be held April 25 in the
\nnewly renovated ballroom at the Plaza Hotel on Fifth Avenue. Open bar
\nstarts at 7 pm, followed by dinner, fashion show, and live auction.
\nWe are looking for a photographer to cover the event, as well as take
\nphotographs of the models to use as tear sheets in their portfolios.<\/p>\n
