We are OneKind (K1ND), a brand innovation hideout for Ogilvy & Mather Asia. We fuse art & science\u00a0to build innovative experiences for our clients\u2019 products and services. We are not interested in creating\u00a0yet another advertising campaign but to relentlessly push the boundaries of how creative ideas and\u00a0technology can work hand-in-hand. Our ambition is to change the way things work for us, our clients and\u00a0for the greater audience.<\/p>\n
We are currently looking for an ambitious Innovation Technologist, interested to push technical and creative\u00a0boundaries. You should have an untamed curiosity and interest in building experiences and prototypes\u00a0through code. This job requires deep technical experience to connect the dots between hardware\u00a0+ software and help steward our innovation frontier. You will be playing with multiple platforms and\u00a0technologies, so be prepared to leave your comfort zone.<\/p>\n
You will work collectively with a hand-picked team of experiential designers, product designers, creative\u00a0innovators, platform experts and brand experts to create cutting edge innovations for some of the biggest\u00a0brands in the world. You will be a game changing, progressive thinker who is happy diving into code as well\u00a0as sharing the possibilities of technology with the team.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\u2022 Partner with creative thinkers and strategist to concept and build the most ground-breaking innovation\u00a0making OneKind (K1ND) the undisputed world-champions in brand innovation.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Prototype interactive concept, product interaction and experiments with various APIs, libraries and\u00a0emerging hardware\/software technologies.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Represent the technical side of OneKind (K1ND) and foster outside agency relationships as well as\u00a0internal workshop trainings.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Develop a culture of excellence around creative use of our technology not limiting to advertising and\u00a0marketing.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science or related field. In lieu of degree, 4 years of experience.<\/p>\n
\u2022 6 years experience in leading technology-focused projects for iconic global brands, or related\u00a0development position at a creative agency with a portfolio of original and breakthrough work.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Experience with a variety of languages and technologies (JavaScript, HTML 5, ActionScript 3, Java\/Android, Processing, etc.)<\/p>\n
