The User Experience Leadership Program offers people with a passion for user\u00a0experience an opportunity to grow their leadership skills, business acumen and\u00a0design abilities, while building a career with unlimited potential. Program members\u00a0learn by doing\u2014gaining real-world experience by working on important and\u00a0challenging projects alongside some of the brightest designers and technical minds\u00a0in the world.<\/p>\n
Design the Things that Matter<\/p>\n
At GE, we\u2019re designing at scale. Big Scale. We\u2019re creating software that builds, powers, moves, and cures the world. We\u2019re developing\u00a0control centers for power plants, medical imaging software that saves lives, analytics that monitor jet engine performance, control\u00a0systems for freight trains, and much more.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re building the Industrial Internet\u2014a generation of intelligent systems that predict and respond to their environments. Key to our\u00a0mission is applying design and user experience principles and methods to bring people, business, and industry, software, sensor data, and\u00a0analytics together in creating the next Internet frontier.<\/p>\n

The User Experience associates selected will be part of a cutting-edge leadership program designed to develop and accelerate the next\u00a0generation of UX leaders at GE through a two-year developmental program. Program members will be vital in building GE\u2019s Design and\u00a0Experience capabilities and UXLP graduates will advance into roles across GE.<\/p>\n
CANDIDATE CRITERIA<\/p>\n

\u2022 Recent master\u2019s degree in Graphic\u00a0Design, Communications Design,\u00a0Industrial Design, Interaction Design,\u00a0Computer Science, or appropriate\u00a0design related degree may be\u00a0applicable.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Able to work in San Ramon, California,\u00a0for the first year of the program;\u00a0geographic mobility required for the\u00a0second year<\/p>\n
