Target is seeking a software engineer intern for Target\u2019s Technology Innovation Center based in San\u00a0Francisco, CA. You will learn from a team of expert and versatile engineers that are building futuristic products\u00a0and researching groundbreaking concepts.<\/p>\n

Impact:<\/p>\n
At Target\u2019s Technology Innovation Center, you\u2019ll be given the opportunity to influence new ideas to transform\u00a0retail and will provide spike developments and prototypes. Our intern will be mentored by a technical expert in\u00a0this office. The intern will research, test and build innovative new products utilizing emerging technologies.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Open to both graduate and undergraduate level students<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Currently enrolled in Computer Science\/Computer Engineering program (or related technical discipline)\u00a0and graduates on or before summer of 2015<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Experience programming in Java or Python<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Team oriented thinking<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Ability to thrive in a quick paced, creative and experimental environment<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Experience with Git, mobile development a plus<\/p>\n

About Target Technology Innovation Center:<\/p>\n
The mission of the office is to research and create futuristic products with emerging technologies. We work\u00a0with cool technologies that are only available to elite teams. It is located in the South of Market area in San\u00a0Francisco. It opened its doors to the first hires in November 2012 and since then, has grown to a team of 20.<\/p>\n
The team is a mix of engineers, technical architects, product managers, UX, and data scientists.<\/p>\n
