I am writing you from the\u00a0Future of Storyelling Summit<\/a>. An exclusive gathering that brings together five hundred of the top executives, media influencers, creatives, and technologists with the vision and influence to transform the way stories will be told in the digital age taking place October 1st<\/sup>\u00a0and 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0in New York.<\/p>\n

As the landscape of next generation storytellers evolves, we look to the community, of innovators, which\u00a0NYU ITP is part of, for referrals on\u00a0the\u00a0exciting projects and people helping to shape this space.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

With the introduction of the\u00a0FoST prize<\/a>, we hope to champion, bring awareness and give support to these game-changing projects. \u00a0We know that quality submissions come from quality referrals, which is why I\u2019m emailing you.\u00a0We would value referrals of projects and people to reach out to, as well posting the prize on any relevant boards or social media. I\u2019ve included some information below about the criteria, judges and prizes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The FoST Prize aims to cultivate the talents of those pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a storyteller in the digital age, and to help shape the future of entertainment, information, and communications. Work submissions should be recent, produced no earlier than January 1, 2013. Finalists will be judged according to the criteria below.\u00a0Applying<\/a>\u00a0is free and easy and can be done\u00a0here.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

Three finalists will be invited to New York City to attend the exclusive FoST summit, and will have a chance to showcase their work at the event to 500 top executives, innovators and academics, on the FoST website, across FoST social channels, on media partner outlets, a chance to exhibit at The Museum of the Moving Image, as well as a $2500 cash prize<\/b>. The winning submission will be announced from the FoST main stage during an official award\u2019s ceremony, and displayed onsite in the Story Arcade exhibit, which will remain open to the public following the event.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Design Execution: Innovative, original, and beautifully crafted<\/p>\n

Judged by a panel of five renowned practitioners and industry stalwarts: Susan Bonds, CEO and Cofounder of\u00a042Entertainment;\u00a0Damian Kulash, lead singer and guitarist of\u00a0OK Go; Tham Khai Meng, Worldwide Chief Creative Officer at\u00a0Ogilvy & Mather; Charles Melcher, Founder of\u00a0Future of StoryTelling;\u00a0Robert Wong, Chief Creative Officer at\u00a0Google Creative Lab.<\/p>\n
