The Campaign Intern will work with Access\u2019 Advocacy team and create and develop online and offline campaigns that address these human rights challenges.<\/p>\n<p>The Campaign Intern will develop ways for our growing global movement of 400,000 users to take action on issues like net neutrality, surveillance, and online privacy. The intern will work closely with Advocacy team to develop emails to activists, petitions and letter-writing campaigns, social media strategies, and other materials.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the Campaign Intern will\u2026.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create compelling content and craft campaign texts to be used on Access\u2019 website and in emails to our members<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategies for engaging and growing our base of users online via mass emails, social media, and more<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with our Technology and Policy arms to integrate their work into our Advocacy objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Campaign Intern is someone who can research and write excellently, and thinks analytically and strategically. They\u2019re highly motivated individuals with strong academic records and an interest in learning how to run global advocacy campaigns. They should have strong technical ability, or the ability and desire to learn how to use the internet to save the internet. Being well organized, motivated, and reliable will help your application, as will fluency in a foreign language, but if you only speak English, that\u2019s fine too.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for students or recent graduates in communications, journalism, international relations, politics or policy, human rights or a related field. The Advocacy team are based Washington DC and New York City. The intern can work from either amazing office.
