User Experience Designer<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re looking for a\u00a0User Experience Designer\u00a0<\/strong>to create and develop usable, beautiful interfaces for MakerBot’s web and desktop interfaces. \u00a0If you are ready to be challenged and inspired and, can exercise the discipline it takes to impact change, this is your chance to be a part of the Next Industrial Revolution with\u00a0MakerBot.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0User<\/strong>\u00a0Experience Designer,<\/strong>\u00a0you will:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • help define business strategies and translate them into consumer-facing experiences that drive business results.<\/li>\n
  • enable the creation of user interface wireframes, sketches, schematics, and prototypes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    As\u00a0User<\/strong>\u00a0Experience Designer<\/strong>, you have:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • a portfolio of best-in-class user experience design that demonstrates the ability to translate large, complex systems into simple, usable experiences \u2013\u00a0particularly on web platforms.<\/li>\n
    • 2+ years experience in user experience design OR degree in user experience design.<\/li>\n
    • a solid understanding and passion for user centered design.<\/li>\n
    • fluency in Illustrator, InDesign, or other industry standard design and wireframing tools.<\/li>\n
    • can work with grace under pressure, and balance a workload of multiple projects.<\/li>\n
    • current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis — this employer will not sponsor applications for work\/student visas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \n
      • Experience in user experience design for desktop software and mobile\/tablet applications<\/li>\n
      • Ability to do light front-end development (HTML5, Javascript) for prototyping purposes<\/li>\n
      • Experience in 3D printing and designing for 3D printing environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
