About the Position:<\/p>\n
We are looking for an entry level individual with vast programming knowledge to create interfaces and program experiences\u00a0for our custom display fabrication department. This person would work with the Director of\u00a0Digital Innovation to implement client specific experience into custom kiosks, video walls, and other multimedia displays in\u00a0primarily retail and light commercial environments.<\/p>\n
We utilize many different programming environments for our displays. Experience in any of the following is necessary:\u00a0arduino, teensy, raspberry pi, html5, flash, dmx, spi.<\/p>\n
Excellent attention to detail is required. Candidate must also be able to communicate clearly with project coordinator and\u00a0other fabrication team members. Secondary responsibilities include fabrication and installation of technology into custom\u00a0displays.<\/p>\n

Technical Skills (must have):<\/p>\n
Professional Skills:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Prior experience with any\/all of the following: arduino, raspberry pi, html5 (including JavaScript\u00a0and associated framework, and CSS), flash, dmx, spi.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Wide knowledge of new technologies and interfaces.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Experience with various types of sensors and physical computing devices.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Meticulous and detailed organization skills required.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Must be comfortable working with electrical components and able to solder small contacts.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to operate basic hand tools (drills, saws, etc)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve equipment malfunctions in the field<\/p>\n
\u2022 Electrical engineering\/basic circuit design skills a plus.<\/p>\n
* Self-motivated and proactive<\/p>\n
* Must have excellent communication skills<\/p>\n
* Versatility – must be willing to assist on any and all aspects of project from concept to creation<\/p>\n
* Willingness to learn new skills and stay up to date with new technologies<\/p>\n
