Potential research topics include pedagogical language and API design for algorithmic composition, user interface design for integrated art+technology pedagogical tools, curriculum design and development, experimental design and evaluation, and the development of new features of the learning environment.<\/p>\n<p>Ph.D. prospects should meet the admissions criteria for the Ph.D. program in music technology and have demonstrated experience in computer science, algorithmic composition, and software engineering. Additional background in areas such as education, human-computer interaction, and\/or digital media is desirable though not required.<\/p>\n<p>Postdoctoral applicants must have been recently awarded a doctoral degree in a related field such as music technology, digital media, human-centered computing, music composition, computer science, or education. Regardless of disciplinary background, all applicants should have some previous experience in music, music technology, and computer science.
