sepiaEYE Gallery is looking for an intern for the fall-winter. \u00a0<\/span>sepiaEYE is an exhibition space in Chelsea that specializes in modern and<\/div>\n
contemporary photography and video work from Asia. We are seeking a motivated\u00a0and personable intern who is looking to gain experience in a gallery setting. Must be\u00a0able to commit to a minimum of two days per week.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Duties will include:<\/span><\/div>\n
– Assisting directors with day to day gallery operations<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
– Organization and maintenance of digital database and records<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
– Supporting current exhibition and organizing future exhibitions and catalogues<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
– General administrative duties<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Art History, Museum Studies, or Fine Arts background with knowledge of\u00a0<\/span>contemporary art is preferred. Must be comfortable working with MS Office, and\u00a0Adobe Suite proficiency is a plus. Internship will be unpaid – we can offer academic\u00a0credit and letters of recommendation.<\/div>\n
