Greener Media<\/a>\u00a0is an award winning multimedia production company that specializes in environmentally and socially conscious content. Their focus is to tell good stories for organizations and companies that are doing good work in the world.<\/div>\n

They have worked with numerous organizations including: Farm Sanctuary, New York Cares, Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project, The Rogosin Institute, Cancer & Careers and Shiseido. They also won a Webby award for Best Public Service & Activism Online Video for their Stand Up 2 Cancer video “Magical Cure” in 2009.<\/div>\n
\nWho They’re Looking For<\/div>\n
Presently, they’re developing and producing projects for a handful of clients. Interns will work with producers to assist with project management, find potential story ideas, and new project opportunities.<\/div>\n
\nThey’re looking for an intern interested in a variety of genres from documentary\/non-fiction, PSAs, educational, marketing\/fundraising and promotional videos.<\/p>\n
What You’ll Be Doing<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the following:<\/div>\n
\nDevelopment<\/strong>:\u00a0Researching grants and documentary stories\/opportunities. Contacting organizations and helping build outreach database.<\/p>\n

Production & Post Production<\/strong>:\u00a0Potential opportunities for on location production shoots.\u00a0Learning about editing and project pitches.<\/p>\n

Commitment<\/div>\n

A minimum of two months is preferred.<\/p><\/div>\n

Days: 2 days per week (Flexible). Hours: 10-16 hours a week.<\/div>\n
This is an unpaid internship. If you are a student, academic credit may be available through your institution.<\/div>\n
