\n<\/span>The Department of Film & Media Studies at Hunter College is in search
\nof an adjunct professor to teach MEDP 34100 – Web Patterns that meets
\nThursdays from\u00a04:10PM to 6:50PM\u00a0this spring semester beginning
\n01\/28\/2015 through 05\/24\/2015.
\n
\n<\/span>The position requires someone who is comfortable teaching current web
\nprogramming and development and have earned a terminal degree – \u00a0MFA
\nor PhD.\u00a0 A description of the course is copied below.\u00a0 Please forward

\n<\/span>MEDP 34100 – Web Patterns, Th\u00a04:10PM – 6:50PM, 01\/28\/2015\u00a0–\u00a005\/24\/2015
\npre-requisite: MEDP 285 Web Production 1
\nAdvanced programming skills for website design. Dynamic content
\ndevelopment explored through state of the art programming languages
\nfor the creation of interactive web sites. Students will create web
\npages that utilize the most current techniques in web development.
\nThe curriculum in this class emphasizes an integrated and creative
\napproach to web programming, including detailed instruction and
\npractice in the technical aspects. It is designed to give students a
\nbasic introduction to the tools and techniques used by web
\nprogrammers.
\n
\n<\/span>In the past, this course has covered the following, however other
\napproaches are welcomed:
\nHTML – Structure (review from Web Production 1)
\nCSS – Design (review from Web Production 1)
\nJavaScript – Behavior
\nPHP – Logic
\nMySQL – Storage<\/p>\n
