The Museum of Modern Art\u00a0<\/b>is currently accepting applications for the Summer 2015 Internship Program.<\/p>\n

Description:<\/b><\/p>\n
The Summer 2015 Internship Program provides participants in-depth exposure to the workings of individual departments and practical and theoretical training in museum practices, and acquaints them with the role of museums in contemporary society. Working under the supervision of one of the Museum’s professional staff, interns contribute to timely projects, gain insight into the functions of individual departments, and learn about the Museum’s various collections, exhibitions, and programs for visitors.\u00a0 Internship projects are based on Museum needs and requirements and are assigned to interns with the appropriate skills and interests.\u00a0\u00a0This paid internship runs from\u00a0June 1\u00a0through\u00a0August 7, 2015.<\/b><\/p>\n

Eligibility:<\/b><\/p>\n
College students (one must have a minimum of two years of college completed by Summer 2015), recent graduates (both B.A. and M.A.), graduate students, and beginning museum professionals.\u00a0 The Museum encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines to apply.\u00a0\u00a0Summer internships\u00a0Summer internships are full-time. The schedule is\u00a0Monday\u2013Friday, 9:30 a.m.\u20135:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
