We produce a range of resources for our subscribers including a\u00a0\u00a0bi-weekly newsletter that targets educational leadership, and we are looking for someone to build our free and paid subscriber list of email customers for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.modernlearners.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.modernlearners.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a part-time role of approximately 2-3 days per week in a possibly ongoing role.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for an Email Marketing Intern to help us leverage our email channel to increase sales and awareness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop email marketing strategies and campaigns to reach out to new users and re-engage existing customers<\/li>\n<li>Compose email-friendly designs following best practices for customer acquisition<\/li>\n<li>Compile reports and analytics using key success metrics<\/li>\n<li>Identify and develop promotion strategies for new products, features and announcements\n<ul>\n<li>Identify potential affiliate organisations and list we can partner with and leverage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Manage email and database marketing tools\u2026\n<ul>\n<li>Write copy for upcoming email campaigns to educational leaders, manager WordPress Member site,\u00a0\u00a0launch and report results of email campaigns, and brainstorm ideas for future campaigns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You should have some experience and\/or a genuine interest in email marketing, list management and lead generation, using\u00a0MailChimp\u00a0(or similar) and other digital marketing tools, including social media tools.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0An understanding and passion for growing audience and helping build a successful marketing list<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Excellent oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ability to meet multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Enjoy writing and can create concise, professional content quickly<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Have the ability to work for a minimum of 20 hours per week for at least the next 6 months and hopefully beyond to an ongoing position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience managing web sites and\/or optimizing them for SEO<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with SEO tools such as Google\u2019s Keyword Tool, Rank Tracking software, and Google Webmaster Tools<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of SEO industry trends and search engine algorithm updates<\/li>\n<li>Avid reader of multiple industry sites, blogs and publications<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of online business models and internet\/consumer technology<\/li>\n<li>WordPress, Photoshop, or video editing skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing web sites, Twitter and Linked In accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position is paid, around $15\/hr neg. is done remotely, and while we are based out of New Jersey,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Contact:<\/p>\n<p>Bruce Dixon<\/p>\n<p>email:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:bruce@modernlearners.com\" target=\"_blank\">bruce@modernlearners.<wbr \/>com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dynamic Digital Marketing Intern We are an organisation focused on progressive reform to schools to better meet the needs of modern learners.
