ESI is looking for a Server Game Developer with Network Architecture experience for a prototype of a new live-action and web\/mobile gaming experience. The Server Game Developer will be responsible for implementing server related game features.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
You will be working closely with the creative and technical team to create scalable infrastructure and feature integration. You\u2019ll have to break out of your toolset to push boundaries on technology to deliver the most robust back end to our users.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
You will be expected to apply and expand your skills in a wide variety of ways, depending on the day-to-day needs of the project. Being a server side programmer at ESI will be a diverse, challenging and rewarding experience as you will work with a team devoted to creating a powerful, highly engaging gaming experience.<\/div>\n

This position is for the expedited development of a gaming prototype. Those that apply must be able to commit to the length and scope of the project with the understanding that the timeline is rapid and ambitious.<\/div>\n

What you\u2019ll do every day:<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Develop and maintain features and systems necessary for the game<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Collaborate with team members to create and manage scalable architecture<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Work closely with client developers on feature integration and security features<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Develop features and prototype iteratively<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Solve real time problems at a large scale<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Evaluate new technologies and products<\/div>\n

Desired Skills and Experience<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 3+ years of experience with Network Architecture and server side development<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Experience in developing networked games using mobile devices (specifically real-time, cross-platform multiplayer games)<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Native Android and\/or iOS development<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Ability to multi-task, focus, and meet critical deadlines<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Clear communication and presentation skills<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Expert skills with backend programming languages.<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Experience with Android \/ iOS development<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Experience in all aspects of the game development life cycle<\/div>\n
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 Experience with software appropriate for this role, including bug\/task tracking software, Excel, Project, databases, wikis, etc<\/div>\n
