The Department of Human Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE)\u00a0at the University of Washington is searching for a lecturer or senior lecturer to join our faculty. This is a non-tenure track appointment, but the position is an integral member of our growing department. Many of us have CS & IxD backgrounds, and we focus on understanding human needs and interests to design and build engineering solutions to the\u00a0problems our world is facing. We are seeking individuals with experience teaching visual design, ideation\u00a0techniques, user-centered design processes, information visualization, interaction design & prototyping, user research methods,\u00a0and\/or project-based learning. There are lots of possibilities for a talented and engaging educator to join a very inter-disciplinary and collegial group.<\/div>\n
