The Client: \u00a0Ecommerce Division of Fortune 500 Luxury and Beauty Company<\/p>\n
The Job:<\/p>\n
Tree House Interactive is looking for a champion of User Experience. You should be passionate about\u00a0great user experiences, from functional flow and interaction details to rich visual look and feel across\u00a0multiple devices. You notice all of the details, but have enough of the big picture to figure out what\u2019s\u00a0important and what\u2019s simply not. You will apply all of your knowledge of best industry practices to all site\u00a0pages, tools and experiences, while balancing the innovative design and aesthetic that is core to our\u00a0luxury brands\u2019 DNA.<\/p>\n

Key Roles and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Create the right documentation for the task at hand, ranging from a sketch on a notepad to an\u00a0annotated wireframe that a developer can build from<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Be able to easily pivot between creative discussions and business-minded discussions about\u00a0maximizing site conversion<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Work alongside the design team to ensure business rules for each project are providing the basis\u00a0for every design<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Help establish and reinforce consistent interaction design patterns across platforms<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Usability testing<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Interact with other UX staff within the wider ELC family to build a working group focused on best\u00a0practices and innovation in the space<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 3+ years designing experiences across multiple platforms<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Experience in mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and responsive design<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Ability to empathize with our user<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Understanding of the technology that realizes your designs<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Understanding of the International nuance required to build successful site experiences globally,\u00a0i.e. non-smart phone markets.<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Stickler for detail<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Mastery of Adobe Indesign or Omnigraffle<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Experience with ecommerce and social platforms<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Experience working within the design\/UX team of another luxury\/prestige brand<\/p>\n
