The role is both hands-on and strategic and involves leading creative design on L2\u2019s research report production.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>L2\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l2thinktank.com\/research-archive\" target=\"_blank\">research reports<\/a>\u00a0blend high-level data insights with bold design that gives our member brands insights aimed at improving their digital performance. Skill in telling data stories in visually interesting and meaningful ways is at the core of the role.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Art Director will be responsible for managing a team of 6 designers and will collaborate closely with the research team.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a growing, entrepreneurial company with a commitment to design excellence and a passion for data visualization. L2\u00a0has a staff of 75 is located in the Greenwich Village.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Experience<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BFA Graphic Design<\/li>\n<li>4+ years design experience, preferably in a leadership role<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading and managing complex design projects<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated talent in information design and data visualization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop<\/li>\n<li>PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>HTML and CSS knowledge a plus<\/li>\n<li>Expert production skills<\/li>\n<li>Managerial skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the design of all L2 Research Reports<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with research team<\/li>\n<li>Manage team of 6 designers<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Creative Director<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Must exhibit:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong creative skill<\/li>\n<li>Experience at telling data stories<\/li>\n<li>Rigorous attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>About L2<\/b><\/p>\n<p>L2 is a member-based research firm that benchmarks the digital competence of consumer brands.
