\nas Director of Talent Acquisitions for Hillary’s presidential campaign.
\nHere are some details for positions to fill (based in Brooklyn), if you or
\nsomeone you know would be a good fit:<\/p>\n

Hi everyone. Our big push this week is sourcing for our Data & Analytics
\nteam! We’re hiring associates (junior & senior), data science associates,
\nand two leadership roles – a digital analytics team lead, and a Deputy
\nDirector for the department.<\/p>\n

We’re especially excited to find the digital analytics lead sooner rather
\nthan later.<\/p>\n

This department supports all major decision-making on the campaign – which
\nvoters to target for Persuasion & Get Out The Vote efforts, what communications
\nmessages should be used where, how best to spend advertising $, how best to
\nfundraise, etc – all of the most critical functions. The data & analytics
\nteam is like the nerve center for the campaign understanding how to compete
\nas effectively as possible. It’s sort of like an internal consultancy,
\nwhich serves the other departments to help them make the right calls. It’s
\nalso run by a fantastic Director who lead analytics for the battleground
\nstates for Obama in 2012.<\/p>\n

Folks for all of these data & analytics roles will have things in common:
\n– Very quant minds & work experience.
\n– Strong familiarity with analytics\/statistical software & tools, e.g. R
\nSTATA SPSS SQL GIS Python Hadoop Go, Weka, Apache Spark, etc.
\n– Experience working with large data sets & incomplete data sets.
\n– Ability to work smart & hard – long hours, a true love of the analytics
\nand figuring out what is going on in the data, even after a long day.
\n– Good client management skills & a customer service attitude, as they are
\nproviding support to other teams.
\n– A passion for using numbers to figure out how to elect Hillary Clinton as
\nour next President.<\/p>\n

We are excited people from various backgrounds – startups, corporate,
\nagency – and for the data science set, academics – PhDs, etc.For the data
\nscience roles, folks with experience with any of these: predictive
\nanalytics and modeling, survey methodology, causal inference, experimental
\ndesign and analysis, independent research, text analysis\/natural language
\nprocessing or regression analysis, machine learning.<\/p>\n

As with the other technical teams, we are working hard to bring in diverse
\ncandidates & women for consideration, as team balance it very important to
\nus. So keep that in mind as you’re thinking about who might be perfect for
\nthese.<\/p>\n

All of these roles are based in Brooklyn. People can email me directly
