Position summary:<\/p>\n

\n
Participates in the design, development and implementation of consumer\u00a0facing web and mobile web applications to improve research capabilities and\u00a0mental health interventions.<\/div>\n

Responsibilities:<\/div>\n
\n
We are looking for an energetic developer to join our team half-time to\u00a0help us build mobile ready sites and applications for data collection and\u00a0intervention in our research studies and clinical services. You will have\u00a0a wonderful opportunity to work with research and clinical staff and\u00a0build a career in digital health development in mental health and\u00a0addiction services \u2013 one of the fastest growing fields.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Responsibilities:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Develop scalable web applications using PHP, HTML5, CSS and\u00a0Javascript<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Work with Research and Clinical Staff, Designers, Web and Mobile\u00a0Architects other Developers to implement responsive mobile web designs.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Help manage databases with special emphasis on importing data from\u00a0different sources including the hospital EHR.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Familiarity using open source code to development mobile ready\u00a0assessments.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Follow corporate development standards and procedures during the\u00a0development process.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Work as part of an agile team of health professionals, designers and IT\u00a0professionals within the hospital system.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Experience and Qualifications<\/div>\n
\n
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science or related field, required.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 2+ years experience developing enterprise scale web applications\u00a0software<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Demonstrated expertise with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and\u00a0Responsive Web Design<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Familiarity with node.js and angular.js<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience using different frameworks and RESTful APIs with a clear\u00a0understanding of software development best practices<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Understanding of CMS such as WordPress, drupal and\/or square space<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Demonstrated experience working with teams using agile methodologies<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience managing web services and cloud based secure hosting.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u2022 Experience with MySQL and other databases.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
